OUR SERVICES
At Boston Pain Specialist, Dr. Periskic provides interventional pain management
techniques to help your pain. Dr. Periskic advocates a non-narcotic, multidisciplinary
approach to treating pain that may also include physical therapy and weight loss.
Pain is your body's way of telling you something is wrong. Pain can occur anywhere,
from mild and irritating to pain so severe you can't live normally or enjoy life. Chronic
pain can be more common as we age, but pain is not a normal part of aging.
When you have an injury or illness, your nerves send pain signals to your brain. Pain
becomes chronic when it lasts longer than 3 months. Chronic pain can develop after
injury and also from medical conditions like diabetes or shingles.
IF YOU EXPERIENCE AN EMERGENCY, GO TO YOUR NEAREST EMERGENCY
DEPARTMENT. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY SERVICES.
